Gray Cast Iron,Grey Cast Iron and Cast Iron Foundry in China


Gray cast iron means cast iron with flake graphite,It is called gray cast iron because the fracture is dark gray.The main components of gray cast iron are iron, carbon, silicon, manganese, sulfur, phosphorus,which is the most widely used cast iron, and total output over 80% of total cast iron output.The main products include Gray Iron Foundation Plates,Cast Iron Manhole Cover,Iron Casting  Manhole Cover,Cast Iron Pan,Cast Iron Counter Weight Crane Ball,Counter Weight  Block Grey Iron Pump Body,Cast Iron Stove Burner and so on.

Gray cast iron is a kind of cast iron,Gray cast iron has good casting machining performance and wear resistance.So cast iron is still one of the main mechanical materials.The composition of cast iron is roughly as follows: C:2.0~4.0%,Si:0.6~3.0%,Mn0.2~1.2%,P:0.1~1.2%,S:0.08~0.15%. However, in order to further improve the mechanical properties of cast iron, our foundry adds alloy elements such as Cr,Mo,V,Al, which is called alloy cast iron.
